Ketty D’Ancona is one of the few winemakers and producers of Passito and Zibibbo white wine on the island of Pantelleria. She was responsible for keeping the family business in its fourth generation alive.
After finding herself in Pisa to pursue her study and work choices, she realizes that the sacrifices of her father and grandfather were about to be voided and she rolls up her sleeves by deciding to continue the business with hard work and a wealth of agronomic knowledge learned in college. She defines the job of the winemaker as the most beautiful in the world.
