In 2014 the agricultural practice of the alberello vine of Pantelleria was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. The cultivation technique of the Zibibbo grape and the knowledge related to it has been universally recognized as identifying elements that represents the culture and history of the islanders. In October 2022 the researchers of MedEatResearch, commissioned by the National Park of the Island of Pantelleria, collected the testimonies presented in this section from the local community of farmers, winemakers, producers and experts.
